Jerusalem, 13 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — QIAGEN has acquired Israeli company Genoox for $80 million, adding its AI-powered Franklin platform to boost genetic testing services. Franklin helps labs quickly analyze complex genetic data and is used by over 1,700 healthcare groups in more than 50 countries. The platform is designed for small and mid-sized labs, especially those focused on inherited diseases. Founded in 2014 in Tel Aviv, Genoox raised $26 million from investors.

The Germany-based QIAGEN plans to integrate its own genetic databases into Franklin, aiming to improve test accuracy and support faster clinical decisions. The deal is expected to generate $5 million in sales in 2025.
