Jerusalem, 12 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — In July 2025, imports to Israel of private vehicles totaled 19,691 compared to 30,300 in July 2024, a decrease of 35%. Imports of commercial vehicles amounted to 1,141 vehicles compared to 972 in July 2024, an increase of 17.4%. The decrease in imports of passenger vehicles is explained by high imports in July 2024.

In the period January – July 2025, vehicle imports amounted to 118,716 vehicles compared to 139,053 vehicles in the same period last year, a decrease of 14.6%. It should be noted that in December 2024 there was a massive increase in vehicle imports, more than double the increase in December 2023.
