Jerusalem, 31 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Negev Police solved two murder cases in the Bedouin town Rahat against the backdrop of a conflict between crime families and indictments were filed against four suspects, including a minor. Meanwhile, in raids carried out by the police in the Bedouin diaspora, weapons and ammunition were seized, including over 10,000 rounds of ammunition, a machine gun, four M16 weapons and a pistol, converted grenades, and also a cannabis growing greenhouse.
In addition, 23 vehicles were confiscated, over 700,000 Shekels ($205,000) in cash and foreign currency were seized from a Bedouin stolen military weapons dealer. Two businesses in Rahat and Segev Shalom were closed for a period of 30 days following involvement in violent incidents and blood feuds.
