Jerusalem, 25 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — A Palestinian terrorist responsible for a deadly attack in 2024 was killed during an overnight arrest raid south of Jenin, the Israel Defense Forces said on Tuesday.

Sultan al-Ghani was responsible for the murder of 38-year-old Gidon Perry at the Bar-On Industrial Park in August 2024. Al-Ghani was an employee in a factory that Perry managed. He attacked Perry with a hammer, stole his gun and vehicle and fled.

In an operation that lasted throughout the night, soldiers arrested five accomplices, then surrounded the building where the Al-Ghani was holed up. Al-Ghani was killed during a shootout.

Afterwards, troops found a “Carlo” type weapon, an M16, a charge and cartridges with ammunition.
