Sheldon served as a company commander the October 7 massacre and was one of the people responsible for the launch of incendiary balloons into Israeli territory.
Throughout the war, Sheldon hid in areas of Gaza declared humanitarian zones, from where he carried out many terrorist attacks such as sniper fire at Israeli forces, planting IEDs and firing anti-tank missiles against IDF forces operating in the area.
He was also responsible for Hamas’s combat complexes in Zeitoun and, in the past, was in charge of intelligence in the battalion.
