Jerusalem, 26 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The government of Israel on Sunday approved the national housing plan, a move worth approximately 1.4 billion Shekels ($425 million) that is intended to maintain the downward trend in housing prices and ensure access to housing for Israeli citizens.
The plan will continue the industry’s momentum that was recorded following the real estate acceleration plan of the past two years, thanks to which there has been a significant increase in land sales and building permits, and will provide additional oxygen to the construction industry and local authorities.
“The plan constitutes a significant pillar of the government’s policy to achieve its national goals in developing the Negev and the Galilee, increasing the supply of housing and adapting it to the needs of the population, alongside continuing to give priority to reserve service members in the framework of land marketing and ‘discounted apartment’ lotteries,” said the Ministry.
