Jerusalem, 25 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he will tell the UN the “truth about the soldiers of our country” when he addresses the UN General Assembly. This was part of remarks he made just before departing for New York overnight.
Netanyahu also said that he will “denounce those leaders who, instead of denouncing the murderers, rapists, and child burners, want to give them a state in the heart of the Land of Israel. That will not happen.”
The Prime Minister will also go to Washington where he will meet for the fourth time with President Trump, and discuss with him the “great opportunities that our victories have brought, and also our need to complete the goals of the war [in Gaza].”
These, he said, include the return all of the hostages, the defeat of Hamas, and to “expand the circle of peace that is open to us following the historic victory in Operation Rising Lion and other victories that we have achieved.”
“This is also an opportunity to wish you, the citizens of Israel and the entire Jewish people, a happy new year. A year of security, prosperity and peace.”
