Jerusalem, 25 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Ben-Gurion University said on Wednesday that six of its research laboratories at the Soroka Medical Center were destroyed when the Beer-Sheva hospital was directly hit by an Iranian ballistic missile on June 19.
The destruction of the labs “wiped out years of work on diverse research projects in medicine and biology,” the university said.
The university added that the strike damaged nine other laboratories, a dissection room, and several classrooms.
