Jerusalem, 28 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Large police forces were active since morning in the Arab communities of Abu Sinan, Jadeida Makar, Yarka and Kfar Yassif in the Western Galilee, where they seized 33 vehicles, including luxury vehicles with an estimated value of over four million Shekels ($1.14 million). Cash totaling approximately one and a half million Shekels was also seized, as well as tax debts worth approximately 50 million Shekels ($14.3 million).
The confiscations were carried out during what the Israel Police described as a national integrated operation to strengthen public security and combat serious crime in Arab society. They were taken over unpaid taxes.
“This is a large-scale economic enforcement operation designed to combat organized crime, strengthen governance, and improve the public’s sense of security,” said the police.
