Microwaved Gun Found During Raid on Organized Crime, Four Arrested

Jerusalem, 26 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli Police discovered Walther pistol that had been microwaved during a raid on an apartment in Bat Yam, the police said on Monday morning. Police also seized a loaded magazine, suspected crysal meth, multiple mobile phones and NIS 3,000 ($836).

Three adults and a minor were arrested. It is believed that the suspects may have thought they could destroy the gun in the microwave.
