Massive Criminal Weapons Cache Uncovered
Massive criminal weapons cache uncovered in al-Gharbiyye, Israel. Police seize guns, explosives, and ammunition. Three suspects detained.
Jerusalem, 5 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Coastal District police, in cooperation with Border Police, uncovered a large cache of guns, explosives, and ammunition intended for criminal use in al-Gharbiyye, an Arab city in northern Israel. Three suspects (residents of Baqa al- Gharbiyye, 37, 36, and 22) were detained for questioning.
The discovery came during an operation, which was carried out as part of Israel’s fight against the possession of weapons by criminal organizations.
T the following items were seized: three Kalashnikov rifles, three M-16 rifles, a Glock pistol, cartridges, ammunition, weapon parts, and 1.5 kg of explosives.
