Jerusalem, 7 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — On Sunday, a terrorist the IDF said served as a “major arms dealer” and who was involved in several transactions involving weapons and drugs was arrested in the village of Salem – located just east of Schehem (Nablus) – in Samaria, in an operation carried out by fighters from the IDF’s (Israel Defense Forces) Duvdevan (Cherry) special forces unit and regular IDF forces who operated under the direction of the Shin Bet (Israel’s anti-terror General Security Service).
During the operation, the forces fired at the wanted terrorist and at another terrorist who was with him.
During searches conducted by the forces in the terrorist’s vehicle, a gun and cartridges were found.
There were no casualties among Israeli forces.
