Jerusalem, 3 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Last week in the Nuseirat area, Israeli security forces eliminated the terrorist Mesbah Salim Mesbah Daya who served as the head of the Kata’ib al-Mujahideen terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip. The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) only just revealed this Wednesday morning.

As part of his role as head of the terrorist organization, he recruited terrorists in Judea and Samaria and inside Israel, through whom he promoted and carried out terrorist attacks and operations. During the war, the terrorist organization he led was involved in promoting terrorist attacks on Israeli territory and against IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip.

Mesbah Daya was appointed to the position of head of the terrorist organization after the three previous heads of the organization were eliminated in IDF strikes in recent months.

“His elimination constitutes a blow to the direction of terrorism from the Gaza Strip to the territories of Judea and Samaria and inside Israel,” said the IDF.

Kata’ib al-Mujahideen terrorists took a significant part in the murderous massacre on October 7th, participating in kidnapping and murder without knowing the plans of the terrorist organization Hamas, but rather as a means of realizing and exploiting Hamas’s terrorist plans on the territory of the country, explained the IDF.
