Jerusalem, 21 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — On the occasion of Jerusalem Day, starting Sunday there will be a significant upgrade to the high-speed train line between Modi’in and Jerusalem. The Ministry of Transportation and Israel Railways are doubling the frequency of the trains during peak hours.
This is part of the Ministry of Transportation and Road Safety’s commitment to strengthen the transportation connection to the capital of Israel.
Since the line’s launch in 2018, over 35 million trips have been made. At the same time, the Ministry of Transportation and Israel Railways continue to promote the extension of the line to the center of the capital.
