Israel’s Vocai Partners with South Korea’s Nanointech for Next-Gen Battery Safety Solutions
Israeli startup Vocai partners with South Korea’s Nanointech to enhance battery safety with real-time monitoring technology for e-buses and electric vehicles.
Jerusalem, 20 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli battery safety startup Vocai has partnered with South Korea’s Nanointech to integrate Vocai’s ED-10A sensing technology into advanced battery packs for e-buses, low-speed electric vehicles, and energy storage systems. The collaboration brings real-time molecular-level monitoring of battery health, enabling early detection of degradation, thermal runaway, and failure events — enhancing fire prevention, performance, and longevity.
“Partnering with Vocai allows us to embed world-class battery safety directly into our smart battery systems,” said Nanointech CEO Byung-Ho Park.
Shipments are expected in 2026.
