Israel’s Security Minister Calls for Investigation Into MK For Terrorist Incitement
Jerusalem, 31 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Minister of National Security in Israel, Ben Gvir today called for MK Ayman Odeh to be investigated for incitement and support of terrorism after remarks made in a speech.
Ben Gvir made the demand to the Attorney General for the MK to be stripped of his parliamentary immunity following a speech Odeh gave at a protest in Haifa, where he declared: “Gaza will win and the occupation must be eliminated.”
Ben Gvir wrote: “Statements like these are not freedom of speech—they are blatant incitement in support of terrorism. In a normal country, someone who shouts ‘Gaza will win’ while terrorists are murdering Jews would be investigated immediately.
“The Knesset cannot serve as a shelter for terror supporters. I demand: revoke his immunity and allow the police to investigate him—without fear, without discrimination, and without double standards.”
