Israel’s National Pavilion at HLTH Europe 2025 Conference Staffed by Local Volunteers
Jerusalem, 19 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s national pavilion at the global health exhibition “HLTH Europe 2025” held in Amsterdam this week operated through dozens of Israeli volunteers living in Europe, who were recruited to replace the planned Israeli representatives who could not leave Israel because of the war.
The Israeli pavilion at the exhibition, branded as “The Israel Ecosystem Village,” was operational at the exhibition that closed today, thanks to about 40 Israeli volunteers from Europe. The pavilion was established as a joint initiative of the HealthIL community, the Foreign Trade Administration and the Growth Administration at the Ministry of Economy, and the Export Institute.
The weekend before the conference, Israeli skies were closed following the start of the “Rising Lion” war, and as a result, out of about 170 Israeli representatives who were supposed to participate in the conference (50 of whom were in the pavilion), only about 10 representatives were already in Europe when the green light was given for the pavilion to open.
This exhibition is the leading healthcare innovation conference in Europe, and this year it included approximately 7,000 participants from 67 countries. Among the participants are pharma and technology giants (Roche, Microsoft, Philips), hundreds of investment funds (SoftBank, Atomico), leading hospitals, governments and more.
