Jerusalem, 16 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Bank of Israel reported that Israel’s foreign exchange reserves at the end of August 2025 stood at $230.321 billion, an increase of $3.553 billion from their level at the end of the previous month. The level of the reserves relative to GDP was 41%.

The increase, said the Bank, was mainly explained by a revaluation of the reserves totaling approximately $3,759 million, which was partly offset by foreign exchange activity by the government totaling about $209 million.
