Jerusalem, 28 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar met a short time ago at the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem with Member of Parliament Richard Tice, deputy chairman of the Reform UK party. This is Tice’s first visit to Israel.
During the meeting, Tice expressed to Sa’ar his opposition to the British government’s decision to recognize a “Palestinian state.”
Sa’ar thanked the pilot for standing by Israel. The Minister made it clear that Israel is aware of the opposition of a very broad public in Britain to recognizing a “Palestinian state” and knows how to distinguish between the British people, with whom we have many friends, and the current government.
About a week ago, Minister Sa’ar spoke with the leader of the Reform UK party Nigel Farage. In their conversation, Farage expressed his position against the British government’s “erroneous move” to recognize a “Palestinian state.”
