Israel’s Elsight Advances in Pentagon Drone Innovation Program

Jerusalem, 26 november, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli defense tech firm Elsight has been selected by the U.S. Defense Innovation Unit to advance in Project G.I., a Pentagon program enhancing drone capabilities for small combat units in communication-denied zones.

Headquartered in Or Yehuda, Elsight joins five U.S. and international companies in the next evaluation phase, where their systems will be tested for battlefield effectiveness. The company’s Halo platform ensures secure, multi-network connectivity for unmanned aerial and ground vehicles, a critical advantage in contested environments. The final companies were chosen based on field performance, technical maturity and alignment with operational needs, the Pentagon said.
