Jerusalem, 31 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Defense Minister Israel Katz commented on the IDF’s (Israel Defense Forces) attack Thursday evening on Hezbollah infrastructure in the Beqaa Valley and southern lebanon used for the production and storage of strategic weapons, saying, “Any attempt by the terrorist organization to rehabilitate, reestablish itself or threaten – will be met with uncompromising force.”

The infrastructures attacked were ones previously destroyed by the IDF and that Hezbollah terrorists were attempting to rebuild.

“As I emphasized – the policy of maximum enforcement against Hezbollah will continue,” said Katz. “Any attempt by the terrorist organization to rehabilitate, reestablish itself or threaten – will be met with uncompromising force.”

“The Lebanese government bears responsibility for preventing violations of the ceasefire agreement – we will not allow Hezbollah to threaten the residents of the north and all citizens of Israel,” he added.
