Jerusalem, 28 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — “The Hamas terrorist organization will pay a heavy price for attacking IDF (Israel Defense Forces) soldiers in Gaza and violating the agreement to return the fallen hostages,” declared Israel’s Defense Minister Tuesday night. His statement came after Hamas violated the ceasefire in Gaza and failed to return all of the remains of deceased Israeli hostages as agreed.

“The attack on IDF soldiers in Gaza today by the Hamas terrorist organization is a crossing of a bright red line to which the IDF will respond with great force,” added Defense Minister Israel Katz. “Protecting the safety and security of IDF soldiers is the first and foremost mission of the IDF’s operations in Gaza.”

“Hamas will pay with compound interest for attacking the soldiers and violating the agreement to return the fallen hostages.”
