Jerusalem, 26 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel basketball players Ben Saraf and Danny Wolf were both drafted by the Brooklyn Nets in the first round of the NBA draft on Wednesday night.
Saraf, 19, is a point guard for Germany’s Ratiopharm Ulm. The 21-year-old Wolf is an Israeli-American who played for the University of Michigan as a power forward/center. Wolf’s dual citizenship enabled him to play for Israel’s national under-20 team at the 2023 FIBA U20 European Championship in Greece.
The two now join the Portland Trail Blazers’ Deni Avdija as the only Israelis in the NBA.
