Israeli Startup TriEye, Taiwan’s LITEON Team Up on Imaging Breakthrough
Israeli startup TriEye partners with Taiwan’s LITEON Technology to advance SWIR imaging solutions for global markets, aiming to deliver scalable, affordable
Jerusalem, 19 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli startup TriEye announced Tuesday a partnership with Taiwan’s LITEON Technology to advance Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) imaging solutions for global markets. Based in Tel Aviv, TriEye developed the TES200, the world’s first cost-effective CMOS-based SWIR sensor, which will now be integrated with LITEON’s new 1135 nm vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL). The collaboration aims to deliver scalable, affordable imaging systems for industries including automotive, robotics, and machine vision.
TriEye CEO Avi Bakal said the partnership “is a testament to our mission” of expanding SWIR accessibility.
