Israeli School Year Begins with Stabbing Incident

Jerusalem, 1 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The first day of Israel’s school year was marred when a 13-year-old boy was stabbed during a fight at a school in Hadera, Magen David Adom emergency responders said.

The boy was evacuated to Hadera’s Hillel Yaffe Hospital with light-moderate injuries. A second boy treated at the scene did not require hospitalization.

Police are investigating the incident.
