Jerusalem, 16 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) confirmed that it eliminated the chief of staff of the Houthi terrorist regime’s army in Yemen, Muhammad Abd al-Karim al-Ghamri.
His elimination came as part of the IDF attack in which senior officials of the Houthi terrorist regime were eliminated on August 28, 2025, using the Air Force and with the precise direction of the Intelligence Directorate.
Al-Ghamri was appointed Chief of Staff in 2016 after a long series of senior positions in the Houthi terrorist regime.
Over the years, Al-Ghamri was a partner in building the strength of the Houthi terrorist regime’s army and took a central role in establishing the terrorist regime’s missile system and establishing weapons production systems.
As part of his role, Al-Ghamari was trained by terrorists from the Hezbollah and Revolutionary Guard terrorist organizations in Syria, Lebanon, and Iran.
“The assassination of Houthi Chief of Staff Al-Ghamri is a severe blow to the army of the Houthi terrorist regime and the chain of command that issued hundreds of terror plans against the State of Israel during the war,” said the IDF.
