Jerusalem, 4 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar met with Indian Foreign Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in New Delhi, India on Tuesday.

Jaishankar said he had an “excellent meeting” with Sa’ar and that they held “productive discussions on strengthening our Strategic Partnership across various domains.”

He added that the two reaffirmed their position of zero tolerance towards Terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

“Appreciate FM Sa’ar sharing the Israeli perspective on developments in the region, the Gaza Peace Plan and efforts to build a durable and lasting solution,” said Jaishankar. “Also exchanged views on our cooperation in multilateral fora.”

Sa’ar said the two had a “fruitful discussion on bilateral relations and the mutual threat of terror” and that he “stressed that dismantling the Hamas terror state is at the heart of the Trump Plan and we won’t compromise on it.”

“Israel is a regional powerhouse and a thriving democracy,” he added. “India is a global superpower, the world’s largest democracy and fastest growing economy. Our goal is to build a long-term strategic partnership between our nations.”
