Jerusalem, 22 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) continues to operate in the Shuja’iyya and Zeitoun areas in Gaza City. Hundreds of what it described as “precise air strikes” in support of forces maneuvering on the ground were carried out, destroying terror infrastructures, including: observation posts, launch sites, weapons depots and several underground hideouts. In addition, many dozens of terrorists were eliminated in the area.

As part of the operation, the IDF’s 7th Armored Brigade’s Combat Team identified three terrorists covered in camouflage moving towards its forces. In a quick closing of the circle, the reserve commando fighters of the unit, in cooperation with Air Force aircraft eliminated the terrorists.

In another operation, a terrorist cell that had planted explosives in the ground with the aim of harming IDF forces was eliminated.
