Jerusalem, 1 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli soldiers uncovered and dismantled a major terror tunnel network spanning about three kilometers in the southern Gaza area of Khan Yunis, the Israel Defense Forces said on Tuesday. The underground system was used to move operatives, hide weapons, and stage attacks. The operation, conducted with the elite Yahalom engineering unit, also included Israeli Air Force strikes. Dozens of terrorists were reportedly killed in intense close-quarters combat.

The discovery marks one of the largest tunnel finds in recent weeks as the IDF continues operations in southern Gaza.
