Israeli Firm TruLeaf Achieves First Human Heart Valve Implant via Catheter
Jerusalem, 11 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli biomedical company TruLeaf-Medical, part of AllMeD Solutions, announced the successful first-in-human implantation of its RoseDoc system for transcatheter heart valve replacement, performed on September 5 in India. The breakthrough procedure treated patients with severe tricuspid valve disease without open-heart surgery, using a two-stage catheter approach.
“This trial is a huge step for the medical community and a ray of hope for millions of patients,” said Prof. Oz Shapira, CEO of AllMeD Solutions. Founded in 2017 by Israeli entrepreneurs, TruLeaf aims to provide safer, minimally invasive solutions for patients considered too high-risk for conventional surgery, marking a major milestone in global heart care innovation.
