Israeli Firm Seraphic Becomes First to Secure Electron Apps Including ChatGPT Desktop
Jerusalem, 20 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Seraphic Security, an Israel-based enterprise browser security company, announced it has become the first platform to provide native protection for Electron-based applications, including ChatGPT Desktop, Teams and Slack. The Tel Aviv firm said the new capability extends its AI-focused security suite, giving enterprises real-time visibility, inline data-loss prevention and protection across both traditional and AI-driven browsers.
CEO and co-founder Ilan Yeshua said Seraphic’s architecture “operates at the core of the browser,” enabling it to support rapidly evolving AI tools without infrastructure changes. The update also enhances Seraphic’s GenAI dashboard, offering oversight of prompts, uploads and agentic activity as organizations integrate more AI into daily workflows.
