Israeli Firm Orbit Unveils Compact SATCOM System for Tactical Military Use
Jerusalem, 3 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Orbit Communication Systems Ltd., a Tel Aviv–based satellite communications provider, has unveiled the MPT30Ka, a compact SATCOM terminal designed for military vehicles, maritime vessels, and rapid deployment operations. The system delivers secure, high-capacity connectivity both on-the-move and in stationary missions, meeting rigorous military standards for electromagnetic and environmental resilience.
Lightweight and easy to deploy, the MPT30Ka supports modern mobile platforms carrying multiple payloads, from radars to weapon systems. Orbit, traded on the tel aviv stock Exchange, has previously supplied battle-proven SATCOM systems to armed forces worldwide, and aims to expand its global footprint with this latest offering.
