Jerusalem, 20 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli Ministry of Defense has selected local company Extend to supply advanced drones to the Israel Defense Force’s ground forces, in a deal worth tens of millions of shekels. The project, led by the Land Arms Department and the Land Technology Division, includes a comprehensive training system and is set to deliver the drones in the coming months.
Defense Procurement Director Maj. Gen. (res.) Amir Baram said the Blue and White drone tender strengthens Israel’s defense manufacturing base while ensuring the IDF is equipped for current operations and future challenges.
