Jerusalem, 1 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Tel Aviv-based aerospace company AIR unveiled a new 32,000-square-foot production facility in central Israel to accelerate deliveries of its electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. The site will enable the concurrent assembly of up to six aircraft, boosting capacity amid rising global demand.

AIR manufactures both uncrewed cargo eVTOLs and the piloted AIR ONE, which is expected to qualify under the FAA’s updated MOSAIC regulations. The facility also serves as a prototype for a future high-volume plant in the U.S. AIR has over 2,500 preorders and plans to deliver 15 uncrewed units over the next year.
