Israel to Bring 3,000 Chinese Construction Workers

Jerusalem, 25 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority has begun conducting professional testing in China to recruit approximately 3,000 construction workers within the framework of bilateral agreements.

The head of the Foreign Workers Administration at the Population and Immigration Authority, Moshe Nakash, emphasized that in light of the destruction caused to many homes and buildings in Israel, there is an immediate need for reconstruction. In light of this, he instructed that the recruitment procedures for foreign construction workers be accelerated.

As part of the tests, candidates are required to perform professional tasks in the construction field to ensure their professional suitability.
