Jerusalem, 16 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli aircraft continue to strike Syrian army targets in southern Syria as ethnic violence between Syrian Druze and Bedouins continues, the Israel Defense Forces said.
In the past 24 hours, the Air Force has hit tanks, rocket launchers, weapons, and pickup trucks armed with heavy machine guns making their way to Suweida, as well as access routes.
Clashes between Syrian Druze and Bedouins in the last several days has killed a reported 248 people. Earlier in the day, Israeli Druze breached the border near the Syrian village of Khader to help their brethren.
