Jerusalem, 12 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli forces targeted Hamas terrorists operating a weapons production facility in Gaza’s Shati area embedded near a medical facility, the Israel Defense Forces said on Thursday.
“Hamas is a terrorist organization that systematically violates international law, exploiting the civilian population and civilian infrastructure as human shields for its terrorist activity,” the IDF said.
The army noted that precision munitions, aerial surveillance and other measures were used to minimize civilian harm, and that the medical facility was not damaged.
