Israel sends medical delegation to aid Jamaica after hurricane destruction. Ministry of Health dispatches team led by Dr. Sefi Mendelovich. Period.
Jerusalem, 5 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Under the direction of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Israel’s Ministry of Health is sending a medical delegation to Jamaica to assist the local population affected by the hurricane.
The delegation, headed by the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Sefi Mendelovich, and under the medical supervision of the Director of Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Prof. Ofer Marin, will include approximately 30 doctors, nurses and paramedical staff from hospitals across the country.
