Jerusalem, 10 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Tax Authority reported that in October 2025 imports totaled 19,478 vehicles (private) compared to 21,817 in October 2024, a decrease of 10.7%. Imports of commercial vehicles amounted to 760 vehicles compared to 513 in October 2024, an increase of 48.1%. Imports of passenger vehicles in October 2025 were likely still affected by the massive advance in December 2024, to a much greater extent than in previous years.
In the period January – October 2025, vehicle imports amounted to 175,988 vehicles compared to 204,754 vehicles in the same period last year, a decrease of 14.0%. As noted above, in December 2024 there was an advance of more than twice the amount in December 2023.
Trend data indicates a decline in passenger vehicle imports starting in early 2025.
