Jerusalem, 30 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics reported that June 2025 saw a decrease in the number of job vacancies – 132,049 in June compared to 140,405 in May, about 6%.
The decrease in the vacancy rate was 4.14 in June compared to 4.37 in May.
Job vacancy rate for the second quarter of 2025:
In analyzing the vacancy rate for this quarter compared to the corresponding quarter before the start of the Iron Swords War (the second quarter of 2023), it can be seen that in most sectors of the economy there has been an increase in demand for workers.
The demand for workers in the construction and hospitality and food industries (restaurants and hotels) was the highest among all economic sectors – for every 100 employee positions in these industries, there were more than 8 vacancies.
