Jerusalem, 30 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli military has reorganized access to humanitarian aid distribution sites in Gaza to prevent Hamas from seizing supplies, the Israel Defense Forces announced Monday. Working with the American Civil Society and international partners, the IDF has set up new checkpoints, fencing, signs, and observation points to secure the areas.
Based on recent assessments, the Tel Sultan aid complex was temporarily closed and replaced with a nearby site designed to reduce friction with civilians and protect IDF forces. The military said the changes aim to ensure aid reaches civilians safely while maintaining operational continuity and security in the area.
