Jerusalem, 15 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel recorded significant progress in the international ranking in the field of artificial intelligence in 2024. The Global AI Index, which reviews the investment, innovation, and implementation capabilities of artificial intelligence in 93 countries, ranks Israel in 7th place in the world, an increase of two places compared to the previous year (9th place).

The increase in the ranking marks a significant turning point and halts the downward trend that has characterized Israel in recent years, when the country dropped from 5th place (2022) to 9th place (2024), explained the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology.
