Jerusalem, 29 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Monday morning, a joint meeting was held between the Israel Police Chief of Staff and the Israel Prison Service Chief of Staff, headed by Police Commissioner Danny Levy and IPS Commissioner Kobi Yaakovi.
The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen cooperation between the organizations and deepen cooperation, both at the operational and intelligence levels, and to upgrade the joint response in the field of organized crime, with an emphasis on Arab society.
The two commissioners emphasized to the members of the Security Council the importance and strengthening of cooperation in order to maximize the organizations’ high capabilities and improve the response to major challenges in the areas of crime for the citizens of the State of Israel.
