Israel Opening Two New Food Distribution Centers in Gaza
Israel opens two new food distribution centers in Gaza to improve aid response and safety. IDF announces additional centers in southern Gaza.
Jerusalem, 27 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said that two additional centers for distributing humanitarian aid will be opened in the southern Gaza Strip in the coming days.
Once opened, a total of five food distribution centers will be operational.
The distribution complex in the Tel al-Sultan neighborhood will be replaced by two complexes that are currently being established in the southern Gaza Strip with the aim of improving the response and safety of distribution.
The process of establishing the distribution centers has been taking place in recent months, under the leadership of the political echelon with the American administration and through the IDF Southern Command and the IDF.
