Israel Navy Launches Missile Strike at Houthi Controlled Yemen Port

Jerusalem, 10 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that Tuesday morning the Israel Navy, using naval missile ships, attacked targets of the Houthi terrorist regime in the port of Hodeidah in Yemen. The attack was carried out, said the IDF, in response to the Houthi terrorist regime’s aggression against the State of Israel, in which surface-to-surface missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles were launched towards the country’s territory and its citizens.

The attack was intended to deepen the damage done to the military use of the port, which was attacked by the IDF in the past year and continues to be used for terrorist operations, explained the IDF.

The port that was attacked is used to transfer weapons and is another example of the Houthi terrorist regime’s cynical use and exploitation of civilian infrastructure to promote terrorist operations.

The attack was carried out after numerous prior warnings by the IDF to minimize possible harm to the civilian population in the area.

“The Houthi terrorist regime has been operating aggressively for the past year and a half, with Iranian guidance and funding, in order to harm the State of Israel and its allies, undermine regional order, and disrupt global freedom of navigation,” said the IDF. “In light of the military use that the Houthi terrorist regime is making of this port, the IDF once again warns those present in the port to stay away and evacuate the area.”
