Jerusalem, 3 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Two foreign anarchists were ordered deported from Israel on Tuesday after entering a restricted military zone in the Hebron Hills. The pair, from Ireland and Sweden, are affiliated with the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) camapign. The two were detained on suspicion of violating a general’s order and engaging in anti-Israeli activity.
Following a hearing at the immigration offices at Ben Gurion Airport, authorities ordered their deportation. One of the anarchists accepted the decision; the other plans to appeal. Both will remain in detention until deportation or a ruling on the appeal.
