Jerusalem, 1 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel has launched a national initiative to renovate residential complexes damaged during the 12 days of Iranian missile attacks. Announced by the Ministries of Finance and Construction, the Tax Authority, and the Contractors Association, the “Renovating in Unity” program will assign large-scale contractors to rehabilitate entire complexes rather than individual apartments.
With about 35,000 structural damage claims pending, officials expect the model to accelerate recovery and ease pressure on citizens. Coordination meetings with local leaders are underway to expand the program nationwide.
