Israel flights to and from Cyprus not affected by Cyberattack in Europe

Israel flights to and from Cyprus remain unaffected by Europe cyberattack on airports. Hermes clarifies Cypriot airports not impacted.

Jerusalem, 20 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Responding to inquiries related to the cyberattack which has reportedly paralyzed several European airports, Hermes the company that manages Cyprus’s airports, indicates that the attack on the specific provider affects check-in and boarding systems. However Hermes clarifies that Cypriot airports use a different system, which is not affected by the cyberattack.

Therefore the numerous Israel flights to and from Larnaca and Paphos airports will not affected.
