Jerusalem, 29 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Director General of Israel’s Ministry for Regional Cooperation visited Montenegro, and met with dozens of senior government officials there – ministers, directors general, and deputy ministers – in the fields of innovation, education, academia, science, employment, youth, ecology and sustainability, information systems, and infrastructure. The Director General developed a “new network of connections.”
“At each meeting, a clear echo echoed: unqualified support for Israel and a sincere desire to learn, develop, and progress together through partnership with the State of Israel,” said the Ministry in a statement. “We heard great appreciation for Israeli capabilities, openness to new initiatives, and of course stories about the 150,000 Israeli tourists who come to Montenegro every year – sunbathing on the magnificent Montenegrin beaches and warming the bond between the peoples.”
