Israel Condemns Poland’s ‘False and Distorted’ Accusations on Gaza and Holocaust
Israel condemns Poland's false accusations on Gaza and Holocaust, calling remarks "outrageous" and "distorting history." Jerusalem rebukes Polish officials for dishonoring Holocaust victims.
Jerusalem, 5 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel summoned Poland’s ambassador on Monday for a formal rebuke over comments by Polish officials accusing Israel of using hunger as a weapon in Gaza and invoking Holocaust imagery. The Foreign Ministry called the remarks “false and outrageous,” saying they distort history and dishonor Holocaust victims.
“Israel is fighting a terrorist organization that seeks the destruction of the Jewish state,” said the head of the Political-Strategic Directorate. The official added that Israel operates under international humanitarian law and has expanded aid efforts in Gaza, including convoys, humanitarian pauses, and air-dropped supplies.
“This is a shared moral responsibility,” the statement said, urging Poland to avoid politicizing Holocaust memory.
